Good afternoon,
( What does ‘he ascended’ mean except that he also descended to the lower, earthly regions? He who descended is the very one who ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe.)
Ephesians 4:9-10
PRAYER
Lord,
It is the darkest day:
the day between the death of Jesus
and the resurrection. When the world did not know
if,
the words of your son were true,
or not.
The Bible and the creeds state:
you descended to the darkest place
to the loneliest spot.
to the place without God.
to the idea beyond space and time.
But,
We know the rest of the story.
But the disciples did not know
They believed,
but they did not know,
for sure. Lord,
Thank you for black Saturday:
for the world not knowing,
So that,
we might still believe. AMEN
