PANDEMIC , PANDEMIC , PANDEMIC

Good afternoon,
Shirley arrived home safely last night. ” They ” had said that we had to isolate from each other for two weeks. She got a test 72 hours before she got to the border. Negative. She got a test at the border. We await the results.

There are 10 provinces, three territories, 50 states and two federal governments in Canada and the United States. There are thousands of municipalities in these places with just as many health departments. It is not surprising that we cannot quite get the same message out to “our” people about the pandemic and vaccines. So many different ideas. I believe ” they” are doing the best they  can.

Every time a new idea comes out,  the media sticks a microphone in the face of a doctor, researcher or scientist and they have to comment. ” They ” know science is changing all the time, and they say something that will be wrong in a week. I feel bad for them. “They”  are doing the best they can. We should all do the best we can.

” Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever ” Hebrews 13:8

It is we who are always changing. We cannot know the mind of the Divine. I don’t even know if God has a mind in the same way that we humans have a mind. In my lifetime, I have inched or metered just a little closer to the heart of God. I am changing everyday. At the border, the officer said it was fine if Shirley and I lived in the same house because I am younger than 65. The rules have changed again. We cannot use the same bathroom, or bedroom, or kitchen or eat together. We have to always wear masks. Though, we can talk ! This is life in our ever changing world. At the moment I am isolating  in Sharon and Norm’s driveway, in their trailer. Always and ever changing and…. waiting.

Grace and peace to everyone.
